Hi, I’m Lene Åsberg (b. 1980), the self-taught artist behind Fru Fleur. Drawing is at the heart of everything I do, and more often than not, my illustrations find their ultimate home in mini and tiny zines. I am especially drawn to their quiet presence and physical delicacy. Within these modest dimensions, I explore closeness, tactility, and moments of pause. I craft each publication to feel like a Friday-night treat—an intimate ritual of sweetness and solitude. In a loud world, this project celebrates soft-spoken expressions, proving that you don't need to shout to be heard. These tiny formats offer me complete creative freedom to share joy, vibrant colour, and vulnerability, reminding us that every quirk is worthy.
